Not only are FR-One fabrics inherently and permanently fire retardant, they offer an extensive range never seen before with FR.
From simple constructions to the most sophisticated of today's designer styles, the range consists of over 530 fabrics covering classic and contemporary styles in plains, silk effects and textured fabrics in a wide spectrum of colourways. Recent advances in technology have made the production of the FR-One more affordable.
FR-One fabrics are tested in independent laboratories in countries all over the world to ensure they meet the required standard. So stringent is the testing that FR-One fabrics comply with some of the world's most rigorous standards, such as:
- (French) NFP 92 503-507 (M1)
- (American) NFPA 260A/UFAC class 1
- (British) BS5852 source 0,1,5
- International Maritime Organisation (IMO)
The testing procedure and equipment for fire retardancy differ throughout the world. For this reason, the FR-One quality is designed to encompass and guarantee all world standards in one fabric.
