SHOWROOM SALES ASSISTANT

We are seeking an experienced and confident Showroom Sales Assistant to join our busy sales team.Your role will be to assist our existing and potential customers, who attend our showroom.  Sales experience is a must, a passion for fabrics would help and your stability in previous role will he highly regarded.

Primary duties of the role include:

·         presenting fabric ranges

·         promoting and selling

·         taking orders and processing

·         promoting good relations with customers

·         assisting with administrative work

·         liaising with external Sales Reps.

·         some data entry

Your personal attributes should include:

·         sales experience

·         an administration background

·         great attention to detail

·         be able to work autonomously

·         great communication skills

·         customer service skills

·         proficiency in time management

·         an excellent phone manner

WAREHOUSE POSITION

Leading Melbourne fabric company located in Fairfield requires a highly motivated warehouse person/fabric cutter to join its operations team.

The position on offer requires someone who is physically fit and enjoys working with fabrics. The role itself requires the person to be able to measure and cut fabric, be able to understand a simple scanning process via computers, and be able to multi task when required. A sound ability in mathematics would be an advantage as part of the role. 

The successful applicant will need to show a desire to fit and work well in a small team, a good hard work ethic and most importantly show initiative to become a fast learner and to exceed expectations.
